Description

We are looking for a dynamic individual to be part of a team conducting business intelligence in the Middle East and North Africa. The successful candidate will be a critical thinker with good communication skills, with an interest in business transactions and operations.

Role Tasks & Responsibilities:

English- and Arabic-language research in support of a range of business intelligence and compliance projects including due diligence, background checks and problem-solving litigation support.

  • Undertaking case management of projects as required.
  • Ensuring the delivery of projects on budget, scope and deadline.
  • Preparing quality reports to clients.
  • Supporting the team on business development initiatives such as attending conferences, client meetings and briefings.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience:

  • Previous professional experience, ideally within the Business Intelligence industry on the Middle East, with at least 18 months working as a researcher in a client-facing role.
  • Experience of conducting Arabic- and English-language research, managing projects, and presenting findings to clients.
  • An understanding of the region’s political and commercial environment, and demonstrated
  • Demonstrated commitment to business intelligence and compliance, with strong knowledge of research techniques, databases, networks, online registers and archives, and research in the general internet.

Qualifications and specialist skills:- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in relevant discipline.

  • Total professional fluency (reading and writing) in Arabic essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written English.
  • Excellent word processing and general computing skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
