About the position:

This is the perfect role for an engineer who wants to continue developing their programming skills and become experienced working in Google Cloud Platform.

Data Engineers report to clients.

We expect the candidate to have the qualifications of OneTeam.

Responsibilities

• • Designing data engineering infrastructures, pipelines, data lakes, cloud architectures for ML/Data applications
    • Leading the delivery of data projects, and doing consultancy work with clients

Qualifications

• • Minimum of 4 years of Python experience on real projects
    • Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery
    • Experience with at least one of SQL databases like MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle
    • Experience with NoSQL databases like Dynamodb, HBase, Cassandra, BigTable, or Spanner
    • Good command of SQL or one of its dialects is a must
    • Experience in Google Cloud Platform and specifically BigQuery is a must
    • Related tools such as Dataproc, Dataflow, BigQuery, EMR, Redshift, Athena, HDInsight, Databricks, etc. are nice
    • Experience with Arrow and/or Dask is a big plus
    • Familiarity with the Linux shell environment
    • Strong CS fundamentals and familiarity with agile development
    • Understanding the basics of distributed systems
    • Ability to write efficient, well-tested code by considering scalability and maintainability
    • Enthusiasm about learning new technologies
    • Advanced English language skills
    • Having an analytical mind and enjoying working with data
    • Preferring teamwork instead of being a lone wolf
    • Experience and willingness to work as a disciplined contractor

$150 - $260 a day
