This leadership position involves steering financial strategy, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and managing a diverse portfolio of companies. The successful candidate will lead a global finance team and contribute to the overarching financial success and growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:International Financial Leadership

• Provide strategic financial guidance, taking into account the unique financial landscapes of various countries and ensuring strict adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Oversee financial operations in entities across India, UAE, Poland, Ukraine, and other locations, ensuring meticulous compliance with IFRS.

Global Team Leadership and Development

• Lead and mentor a diverse finance team spread across different countries, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Ensure that the team is well-versed in the intricacies of IFRS and regional financial regulations.

Portfolio Management Across Borders

• Manage the financial aspects of a diverse portfolio of companies, each subject to distinct regulatory environments.
• Collaborate with regional finance teams to align financial strategies with local operational goals.

Multinational Budgeting and Forecasting

• Develop and oversee the annual budgeting process, considering regional nuances and regulatory requirements, including adherence to IFRS.
• Drive the forecasting process to facilitate proactive decision-making in a multinational context.

International Financial Reporting and Compliance

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee compliance with local and international financial regulations in each jurisdiction.

Global Risk Management

• Develop and implement risk management strategies that consider the geopolitical and economic complexities of operating across borders while ensuring alignment with IFRS principles.

Strategic Partnerships on a Global Scale

• Collaborate with executive leadership to evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships, considering the international implications and adherence to IFRS.
• Conduct thorough financial due diligence on potential investment opportunities across different regions.

Cross-cultural Collaboration

• Collaborate with diverse teams in various countries and regions, providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making globally while maintaining IFRS standards.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, preferably with a strong international focus.
• Proven experience in managing a diverse portfolio of companies across different countries.
• Strong understanding of international financial regulations and accounting standards, especially IFRS.
• Comfortable on using AI tools like ChatGPT for day-to-day activities.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with a cultural sensitivity.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complex international financial landscapes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
