The Enterprise Account Executive formulates and executes a sales strategy to deliver revenue growth, new customer acquisition, and expansion. You will be able to attach yourself to the biggest pain points that the customers have and position FireMon as the capability to deliver the positive business outcomes they require. You will have a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and attending club. You will thrive in a fast-moving environment where you are motivated by the overachievement of on-commission earnings. You will be extremely results-driven, customer-focused, technologically savvy, and innovative at building internal and external relationships to make your customers successful.
About the role

- Identify, develop, and execute an account strategy to close new business opportunities and expand revenue with customers across the assigned Territory; independently and cooperatively.
- Scope, negotiate, and bring to closure agreements to exceed booking and revenue quota targets.
- Build, nurture, manage, and support new prospect sales and upsell existing customers in your assigned territory.
- Target and gain access to decision-makers and build relationships with key players in the sphere of influence.
- Establish access and maintain existing relationships with key decision-makers (typically at the CIO and CSO level) in industry, partners, and enterprise customers to drive all pertinent issues related to sales strategy and goal attainment.
- Collaborate with peers across dependent functions such as Field Sales, Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Services, Customer Support, and Product Development to create visibility with target accounts and drive engagement of target prospects at both the individual contributor and executive level.
- Build strong and effective relationships with channel partners, resulting in force multiplier revenue growth opportunities.
- Maintain a high volume of sales activity via calls, emails, & social selling.
- Work as part of a sales team toward reaching quarterly territory sales quota.
- Identify, develop, and execute an account strategy to close new business opportunities and expand revenue with customers across the assigned Territory; independently and cooperatively.
Required Skills and Experience

- A natural hunter and closer. Someone who has within their DNA a relentless desire to solve the biggest pain point in their customers’ business.
- A relentless prospector. Someone who is constantly generating pipeline and filling the funnel themselves, as well as using a BDR, marketing, and the channel to work on their behalf.
- Motivated to make money and earn competitive commission in return for over-achievement of results.
- Experience selling enterprise technology in a fast-paced and competitive market.
- Knowledge of the cyber security sector is beneficial.
- Experience in selling to large enterprise accounts is essential and you will be able to demonstrate an ability to navigate complex organizations, multiple stakeholders, and their buying cycles.
- Strong communication skills, including strong verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- You can demonstrate leadership of the virtual team (POD) to achieve your goals and have internal dependencies working on behalf of your deals and customers.
- Possess the drive to succeed and to participate in the growth of an exciting, fast-paced company.
- You will be structured and well-organized. Able to handle a large number of customers and deals at any one time.
- You will have outstanding presentation, written, verbal, and closing skills and will be the face of Firemon in your market.
- You will be able to demonstrate an ability to commit an accurate forecast, to demonstrate deal control and be predictable with the deals that you commit.

Preferred Skills and Experience

- 5 years of SAAS sales experience.
- Best practice use of SFDC as the system of record and for gap analysis of deals.
- Understanding and best practice use of MEDDPICC and Command of the Message or other gold standard sales methodologies.
- 5 years of SAAS sales experience.
