Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Infrastructure Support Engineer.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Timely responses to user requests and events from monitoring systems.
- Problem qualification and resolution.
- Execution of regular operational tasks.
- Close collaboration with other units of the infrastructure team and the product team.
- Proactive analysis of issues related to infrastructure services and offering suggestions for improvements.
What We Look For In You:
- Minimum 2 years of production experience with Ubuntu or Debian.
- Practical knowledge of Linux performance monitoring and tuning utilities and commands.
- Shell scripting experience with Bash and Python.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols.
- Experience working with automated provisioning of Linux infrastructure and services.
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of NIS, NFS and CIFS.
- Experience working with agile development teams and DevOps.
- Experience with Linux integration with LDAP.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
