ABOUT THE PRODUCT & UX TEAM

The Product and UX Team apply a human centred approach to problem-solving with the aim to create innovative solutions. We create products and services that are humanly desirable, technically feasible and commercially viable. We always aim to keep our customers at the heart of all of our products and services by building empathy between the organisation, its customers and its partners.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for someone passionate about user centered design with a willingness to learn new things. This role is all about driving the direction and development of customer experiences that matter; from research to functional requirements. You can’t wait to solve problems, ideate and obsess about the details. You work well under pressure, keeping your cool when working to a deadline. A natural communicator, you can articulate your ideas clearly, and get people excited about what you are doing. We are currently defining and building a range of exciting products to support the organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with cross functional teams, supporting the creation of digital products and services people want, need and love
  • Familiar with UX design tools (e.g. Figma, Miro, Webflow, Flutterflow, Dovetail etc)
  • Assisting with customer and stakeholder research, assessment of user flows and usability testing
  • Attend workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback and support UX team in communicating with clients
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis
  • Participate in and co-facilitate design workshops
  • Work with Product Owners to distill product requirements
  • Contribute to the creation of user journey maps, blueprints and ecosystem maps
  • Design and deliver wireframes, mockups and functional prototypes
  • Design final user interfaces
  • Collaborate with developers to create feasible designs and smoothe project handovers
  • Conduct design walkthroughs to stakeholders, product owners and developers
  • Continually test and iterate designs through analytics and direct customer interaction
  • Contribute to and maintain our Design System
  • Workshops and presentations, developing relationships, and working towards great outcomes with stakeholders
  • Contribute to the company's product design community of practice by sharing your work and ideas with the team
  • Keep up with industry trends and best practices, and inform the UX team of any relevant updates

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Product/UX/UI Design role.reference is given to candidates with experience designing Enterprise/B2B solutions.
  • Strong user interface and interaction design skills.
  • Proficient in design software. Our toolkit is primarily Figma, Miro and Dovetail. Experience with other tools is of course relevant.
  • Experience with design thinking techniques and a collaborative approach to design.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders and product teams to distill detailed requirements.
  • Design complete user experiences that meet user needs and realise product vision.
  • Ability to work closely with engineers to facilitate understanding and interpretation of product design requirements.
  • Experience participating in user research, user testing, A/B testing, and prototyping.
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience working with a design system is a big bonus.
