ABOUT THE ROLE

The Pursuit Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining sales-enablement collateral that supports outreach to prospects and clients. This individual further supports sales pursuits by identifying target buyers and email addresses using martech tools, and by helping to track leads’ status through CRM tools based on updates from BDs and MDs. Reporting to the Director of Industry Marketing, the Pursuit Marketing Manager is committed to:

  • Working with designers to facilitate the creation of sales-enablement collateral such as high-level pitch decks, solution-specific webpages, brochures, and sell sheets
  • Supporting large pursuits and large RFIs/RFQs by enabling the launch of microsites, bespoke presentations, customized capability videos, and other assets as agreed upon by Marketing leadership
  • Utilizing digital tools to identify target companies and buyers, including contact info, then recommending / providing assets that will enable productive discussions and conversion
  • Ensuring leads’ inclusion in relevant CRM databases and properly tracking leads from MQL to SQL to Revenue

Success requires experience creating effective on-brand sales-enablement assets, working knowledge of the B2B buying cycle, and expertise using lead-research tools. Experience in the tech sector, specifically talent solutions and tech-services consulting, is beneficial.

Key performance indicators for this position include:

  • Successful delivery of effective, Marketing-approved sales-enablement materials
  • Meaningful contributions to large pursuits and large RFI / RFQ processes
  • Efficient and comprehensive research of target companies / buyers to aid in pursuits
  • Creation and maintenance of a dashboard to track MQLs, SQLs and overall lead status
  • Positive and collaborative approach to working with the Sand Technologies marketing team, including writer(s), designer(s), comms/PR, and industry and event marketers

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years developing sales-enablement marketing assets of various types and formats
  • 3+ years providing pre-sales or sales support across large, medium, and small pursuits
  • 3+ years working in Salesforce, Hubspot, and other digital tools to track the status of leads through the sales funnel
  • Strong project-management skills
  • Critical thinker with a creative and experimentation mindset
