Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new clients (predominately law enforcement and government sector) within the assigned regional territory
- Develop detailed territory plans to drive expansion of customer base
- Prepare and deliver in market customer face to face presentations
- Develop an in-depth understanding of customer’s environment, workflow, and how our solution aligns with their needs
- Act on and qualify incoming leads
- Maintain complete and accurate records of all sales activities in Salesforce
- Partner engagement to prioritize Magnet products and solutions in their portfolio
- Research and prioritize industry events in region, combined with creating Magnet hosted event
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience in a sales role, selling software or technology solutions
- Experience selling to government and/or law enforcement
- Track record of over-plan sales achievement
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Proven experience in building and executing on detailed territory plans
- Competitive by nature with a drive to win
- Creative with the ability to think on your feet
