Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture long-term relationships with assigned customers. Developing direct relationships with key stakeholders in Digital, IT, Business etc, including C-suite relationships in assigned priority accounts
  • Develop and implement account strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their business goals and maximize the value of Cognite's products.
  • Drive renewals and negotiate expansion opportunities for your portfolio. Qualifying and closing existing in-flight deals
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success and extended Sales teams to ensure customer success and account plans are in place and diligently delivered.
  • Contribute to maintaining high Customer Satisfaction.
  • Engage customers through newsletters, webinars, and events
  • Working closely with our Strategic partners to originate new prospects and develop identified leads in Upstream/Midstream/Downstream industry
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Maintaining accurate forecasts
  • Maintaining detailed account and close plans

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience and a demonstrable track record in technology solutions within the Oil & Gas industry along with Account management
  • Track record of managing complex enterprise customers using
  • SaaS, Data Platforms,, Oil & Gas background, Process industry experience
  • Fluent in written and spoken English is required. Written and verbal skills in Arabic are an advantage.
  • Proven experience of engaging at C-Level both in business and IT
  • Commercial experience in renewals and/or upselling.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in selling SaaS solutions, preferably in AI / ML and OT
  • Familiarity with Account Management methodologies and practices.
  • Knowledge of heavy asset industries (e.g., oil and gas, power, utilities).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Clari, Command of the Message, and MEDDPICC (a strong bonus)
