Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Execute SEO Strategies:
β Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies, in-line with the scope
and pitch presentation, tailored to meet clients' objectives and improve organic
search rankings.
β Produce a task roadmap based on client brief, calls, and pitch presentation,
taking full accountability for its implementation, regular updates, and alignment
with performance metrics, client preferences, and new Google algorithms.
β Develop an integrated approach to SEO that considers the objectives of other
channels and non-SEO-based initiatives, and analyze how they may impact
performance to ensure a cohesive and effective strategy is executed.
β Conduct regular reviews of the business's SEO strategy creation process and
collaborate with the SEO lead to pinpoint areas for enhancement, identify
untapped opportunities, and devise innovative solutions that elevate the
business's SEO programs to new heights.
β Employ a collaborative approach in optimizing client's digital marketing
initiatives, ensuring that SEO is not executed in isolation, and actively engaging
with paid, social media, creative, content, and other departments to advance the
overall strategy and improve the SEO services rendered.
β Stay updated with industry trends, search engine algorithms, and best practices
to ensure optimal website performance.
2. Client Management:
β Maintain regular, clear, and consistent communication with clients while
establishing oneself as the go-to SEO expert for the account by staying updated
with the latest developments in their industry and identifying potential
implications.
β Develop a suitable system (i.e, communications, deliverables, reporting), based
on client needs and preferences, via examining requirements for monitoring and
reporting on website performance metrics on a weekly basis, while providing
actionable recommendations based on the results.
β Demonstrate mastery in independently handling client calls with poise and
assurance, while consistently prioritizing customer satisfaction through
attentive listening, effective communication, and timely resolution of any
concerns or issues.
β Regularly check in with clients to understand their needs and expectations and
provide proactive solutions to exceed their goals while maintaining clear
communication channels with the team to ensure client satisfaction.
β Continuously deliver innovative and tailored SEO solutions to clients through the
provision of cutting-edge technologies, trainings, and strategies, thus
positioning the agency as an indispensable partner and thought leader in the
industry.
β Implement a holistic approach to SEO by seamlessly integrating it with other
key areas such as UX, CRO, ASO, A/B testing, and persona identification.
β Revise communication protocols with clients and oversee their implementation
while constantly improving communication strategies of the team.
β Assume the responsibility of consolidating and presenting comprehensive
business reviews, while developing persuasive business cases to influence
critical internal stakeholders.
3. Content Optimization:
β Translate the overarching SEO strategy into specific and attainable actions for
optimizing content.
β Take charge and oversee the implementation of the content strategy that you
and the SEO lead have developed.
β Conduct website audits for your clients to detect errors in metadata, copy, and
content, as well as identify potential opportunities and areas that need
improvement.
β Utilize content to improve search engine visibility and click-through rates.
β Collaborate with our content team to optimize existing content and develop new
SEO-focused content.
4. Technical SEO:
β Develop and execute comprehensive technical SEO strategies for clients,
leveraging data-driven insights to identify gaps and opportunities for expansion.
β Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing regular
updates on SEO performance, and effectively communicating complex technical
SEO concepts and strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
β Exhibit an advanced level of technical SEO proficiency, including the ability to
diagnose and solve complex technical issues, while staying up-to-date on the
latest developments and best practices in the field.
β Challenge the team to consistently perform comprehensive and cutting-edge
technical SEO audits, and develop intricate and advanced SEO strategies.
β Collaborate with web developers to implement all technical optimizations.
β Offer alternative solutions when faced with implementation challenges, whether
they arise from clients' resource constraints or feasibility issues.
5. Link Building and Outreach:
β Formulate and execute off-page SEO tactics that surpass industry benchmarks.
β Examine and leverage emerging trends, and analyze competitor campaigns, to
further improve the domain authorities of the website you handle.
β Develop and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality, relevant
backlinks from reputable websites.
β Conduct outreach campaigns to establish partnerships and secure guest
blogging opportunities.
β Monitor and analyze backlink profiles to identify and address potential issues or
toxic links and fix them.
6. Team Management and Collaboration:
β Manage a team of SEO managers, senior executives, executives. interns, and
trainees, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
β Take charge of continuously challenging the team and spearhead their effective
performance by strategically allocating their resources while encouraging them
to enhance their skills and expertise.
β Regularly conduct training sessions to enhance the communication skills of the
team and ensure that they are perceived as experts in the field by the clients.
β Continuously analyze and evaluate the team's management, SEO execution, and
communication with clients to identify areas of improvement, and proactively
devise and implement solutions to optimize performance, exceed client
expectations, and maximize business results.
β Demonstrate a high level of support to the internal teams by providing
comprehensive assistance and resources to help them achieve their goals and
objectives, while maintaining a proactive and collaborative approach to
problem-solving and effective communication.
β Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, web
developers, and designers, to ensure alignment and effective execution of SEO
strategies.
β Support in driving the growth of the SEO team's members, including their skill
sets, the efficiency of their operations, profitability, and overall team structure.
β Continuously identify opportunities for expansion, implementing training
programs to enhance the team's capabilities, fostering a culture of collaboration
and innovation, and ensuring that the team is equipped with the necessary
resources to deliver exceptional results.
β Facilitate a collaborative and supportive team culture that empowers each
member of the SEO team to voice their concerns, provide valuable insights,
receive regular and transparent feedback, and leverage their unique strengths to
overcome complex challenges and drive exceptional results for clients.
β Continuously evaluate and optimize the team's performance by setting
ambitious goals, implementing effective feedback mechanisms, and providing
ongoing coaching and mentorship to help team members achieve their full
potential.
β Nurture a culture of innovation and experimentation by encouraging team
members to take calculated risks, explore new ideas, and stay up-to-date with
the latest SEO trends, technologies, and best practices.
7. Reporting and Analysis:
β Further optimize the customized reporting dashboards created by the analytics
team that align with micro-goals and soft metrics to effectively track website
performance and provide actionable recommendations to clients.
β Implement and reinforce a culture of utilizing data-driven methodologies and
processes to inform and guide all SEO-related activities, leaving no room for
subjective decision-making.
β Prepare comprehensive reports and present key insights, including organic
traffic trends, keyword rankings, and conversion rates, to clients and internal
stakeholders.
β Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend actionable strategies
based on data-driven insights.
8. Business Development
β Lead the SEO team's participation in new client pitches by proposing
cutting-edge strategies that differentiate us from competitors and continuously
scout for new business opportunities, both internally and externally, to scale up
our services or acquire new clients.
Requirements
- 6+ years of successful SEO management experience.
- Proven team leadership and mentorship skills.
- Familiarity with industry trends and search algorithms.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics.
- Fluency in English
