SPOT GAS TRADER - Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short-term trading strategies across all of Europe, focusing on identifying profitable opportunities while managing risk exposure.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and developments to inform trading decisions and provide regular market commentary to senior management.
• Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and market developments in the gas trading industry and maintain a strong network of industry contacts.
• Collaborate with other traders, analysts, and risk management teams to develop and implement effective trading strategies.

Requirements

• A track record of success in gas trading, with at least one year of experience in trading across all of Europe.
• Experience in transport and storage optimization.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically, with a proven ability to make sound trading decisions in fast-paced environments.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on driving results and achieving business growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Experience in Algorithmic/Automated Trading is desirable but not mandatory.
• Experience in short-term proprietary speculative trading is an advantage.
