Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Overhaul current supply chain operations, which are no longer meeting the needs of the business.
  • Collaborate with the Founder to build and implement new systems from the ground up.
  • Optimize the supply chain to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Oversee inventory planning, procurement, and vendor relationships.
  • Identify and resolve inefficiencies in current supply chain operations.

Systematization & Process Optimization:

  • Map out existing operational workflows and identify areas for improvement.
  • Build and implement scalable processes to support business growth.
  • Continuously review and optimize systems to ensure peak efficiency.

Market Expansion:

  • Lead efforts to expand into new markets, including Europe.
  • Research and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., product testing, labeling).
  • Develop and execute action plans for market entry with minimal involvement from the Founder.

Sales, Marketing, & Customer Experience:

  • Support sales and marketing initiatives by providing operational insights.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Financial Planning & Budgeting:

  • Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and cost control to maintain profitability.
  • Analyze operational costs and recommend cost-saving measures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an operations manager in a similar operations-focused leadership role, preferably in a fast-growing company.
  • Strong background in supply chain and logistics, with demonstrated success in process optimization.
  • Expertise in logistics, supply chain management, and operational efficiency.
  • Financial acumen, including forecasting and cost control.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
  • Strong ability to work quickly, efficiently, and go the extra mile to achieve goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing finished goods inventory and coordinating shipments from international suppliers.
  • Previous experience in managing warehousing logistics.
  • Familiarity with managing complex POs with different payment terms and freight schedules.
