System Designer (Senior Product Designer)

Responsibilities

• Deeply analyze customers and business problems to identify the pain points.
• Rapidly create impactful and elegant solutions to problems.
• Strategically think of the product from high level to connect the missing dots.
• Update the acceptance criteria and define the logic to your work.
• Take full cycle ownership of your work from ideation, design, review and feedback in the final test build and after release.
• Lead holistic design and system design for Deel in partnership with Product Managers and Developers.
• Actively gives feedback to other designers in the team.
• Perform design reviews from a system design point of view.
• Drive the vision for holistic system design and implementation working with Product and Engineering.
• Steer the group’s design execution toward reaching business goals.
• Work holistically across multiple platforms to solve problems.
• Be part of the journey to redefine a way of working for people all round the world.

Requirements

• Be passionate about design.
• Able to learn fast.
• Experienced in the design and implementation of design systems; including templates, components and documentation in Zeroheight and Figma i.e. Storybooks, Figma components, Libraries.
• Previously worked for a minimum of 5-6 years experience as a product designer in fast-paced environment (ideally scale up/ startup).
• Have strong knowledge and practice in both UX and UI.
• Autonomous force multiplier for their team and designers around them.
• Know when to go deep on a task and when to execute.
• Experienced with being embedded into a development team with a light touch from the product manager.
• Be comfortable with being involved with the end-to-end development process.
