ABOUT THE FINANCE TEAM

Our finance team plays a pivotal role in the success and growth of our organization. Comprising dedicated professionals with a keen eye for financial strategy, analysis, and compliance, we drive the financial health of the company. From budgeting and forecasting to supporting M&As, managing cash flows and ensuring regulatory compliance, our team is committed to making sound financial decisions that support our business objectives. We work collaboratively to provide timely and accurate financial information, enabling data-driven decision-making and contributing to the achievement of our company's goals.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Your responsibilities will include among others:

  • Strategy and Business Acumen:

    • Contribute to the development of the company's overall strategic direction.Think creatively and provide financial strategies that drive growth and enhance the
    • company's competitive position.
    • Stay current with industry trends and market developments to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Analysis:

    • Provide financial insights and analysis to support different teams (e.g., sales, marketing, operations) in achieving their goals.
    • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to drive continuous improvement.
    • Create dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into the financial health and performance of the organization
  • Mergers and Acquisitions:

    • Play a pivotal role in the analysis, due diligence, and execution of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and manage the integration process effectively
  • Financial Modeling:

    • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic decision-making.
    • Forecast financial performance, identify trends, and assess potential risks and opportunities.
  • Stakeholder management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with the board of directors and investors.
    • Provide regular, clear, and insightful financial updates to stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between financial strategies and business goals.
  • Systems and Process Development:

    • Lead the design and implementation of global financial systems and processes, including billings, collections, and reporting.
    • Ensure that financial operations are efficient, compliant, and capable of supporting international growth.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • +8 years of combined experience in one (or a combination of) the following:

    • Big 3 Strategy Consulting Firm: Proven experience in financial and strategic consulting, working with a range of clients to address financial challenges and opportunities
    • Private Equity: Strong background in private equity, including due diligence, financial analysis, and portfolio management.
    • Investment Banking: Significant experience in investment banking, including financial advisory, capital raising, and transaction execution.
    • Mergers and Acquisitions: Extensive experience in leading or participating in M&A transactions, from deal origination to integration.
    • Large Scale Venture Capital: A track record of involvement in venture capital, particularly in supporting high-growth and venture-backed companies.
    • Strategic Finance: Proven experience as a CFO in a venture backed high scale international company.
  • Strategic Thinker: A demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and formulate innovative financial strategies that support the organization's goals.

  • Creativity: A creative mindset to approach financial challenges with novel solutions and adapt to changing market dynamics.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Data Analytics and Financial Modeling: Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights to drive informed decision-making.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and lead a finance team, while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Deep knowledge of financial regulations and the ability to ensure the organization's compliance with all relevant financial laws and standards.

  • Adaptability: A willingness and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while leading change effectively.

  • Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of industry trends and market developments relevant to the organization's sector.

  • Team Player: A collaborative and team-oriented approach to work, fostering a culture of cooperation and continuous improvement.

  • Global Experience: Experience with international financial operations and a global perspective on finance and business.
